Do you use ODBC connection? Use OLEDB connection just like described in movie below?

    http://www.seagullscientific.com/label-software/training-video-(reading-data-from-database).aspx

Also, you cannot switch database in between templates (tabs) in a bartender document.

If you want to print labels using separate database, consider using BatchMaker coming with BarTender.

Hi, I did tried on ODBC connection and OLEDB connection. And I always open one label design at a time only.

The database connection is working fine, just my problem is when I open another label design, the database still connecting to previous database.

I was once using bartender 7.10, and do not have issue like that.

Please advice on this. Thank you

When I've create a a.btw connect to A.xlsx, then create b.btw connect to b.xlsx, the document b.btw prints b.xlsx fine.

on BarTender 10.1SR3 + Excel 2013, connected via Database connection stetup's MS Excel (OLEDB).

Besides, it looks recent BarTender (9.4 or later) exclusively locks excel book while design / print time - if that is the matter.
