Odbc Dbase Connection Error
I am getting an error connecting to the database on one specific computer. This works on all other computers.
The error is:
Database Error
ODBC encountered an error accessing your database. The error may be correctable by doing one or more of the following:
1) Closely inspecting all settings in your Database Connection Setup dialog.
2) Confirming that you can read and search your database with another database tool.
[Microsoft][ODBC dBase Driver] Unexpected error from external database driver (8458).
Error S1000: General error
Data Source Error: -5106
Specs:
BarTender 9.1 Build 2592
Windows XP - SP3
The database that the labels connect to is a .dbf file and I have used the Microsoft dBase Driver (*.dbf) on every PC I have setup BarTender on and it works fine.
I have tried the FoxPro drivers, but they give the same error. I'm thinking that for some reason this computer is missing or has some corrupt drivers, files, .dlls or something, but I can't figure it out.
I've also tried replacing some of the .dlls with ones from a PC that works, but still get the same error.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You could try reinstalling / repairing MDAC on this computer.
Do you also get this error if you try to connect from this PC to a test database?
Please also upgrade BT to its latest 9.1 service release: http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/label-software/fixes_91.aspx

Repaired/Reinstalled MDAC on the PC. Same error.
Tried connecting to a new test .dbf database. Same error.
I can connect to 2 other text file databases that are joined.
I upgraded BT to the latest service release. Same error.
Anything else to try?
Thanks.

Sorry, out of suggestions. Rebuilding the PC might be the easiest way to go...
