Create a data entry barcode
Hi,
I am new to bartender so apoloies if this is a fairly simple task. I have created a template label and would like to be able to specify the first barcode via data entry at time of printing. So i load the template, input the starting barcode number and how many serialised barcodes i want and it then prints them.Below is a screenshot of the template but i am unsure how to setup the dataentry element.Only require dataentry for the barcode.

This should hopefully be fairly simple to follow:
- On the Data Entry Form, add an input source from dropdown list
- Click on the form to add this input to it the screen (you can drag this around to the required position etc afterwards)
- Right click and go into the Properties of the input box itself (not the flag/text)
- From the Text Label option on the left type in the box in the right what prompt you want the operators to see (such as Enter Barcode Number)
- Next click on the Linked Data Source option and from the box on the right click on the Barcode field to link this to the input box then click Close to finish.

As you can see from the image above you can also add a Data Entry box linked to the number of copies or serialised labels if that would help to and in my image I have also added a Preview of Template that will dynamically change as the users type in the barcode number value.
