Printing Two Labels When I Only Want One Label
Hello:
I have just started using Bartender 2016 R3 with an Automation license. I have a simple 4x6 label template that connects to our backend database via ODBC to populate 8 fields (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Store Number, Pickup Person First Name, Pickup Person Last Name, Order Number and a generic barcode). I am printing to a Zebra GX420d using the Zebra drivers with a continuous roll of labels. I am using Print Station to scan a barcode from a paper order which then retrieves the necessary data, populates the fields and then prints the label.
This is all working fine, however each time the label prints, it prints two identical labels instead of just one label. I have gone thru all the settings and cannot see any instance where anything is set to 2 lables. I am not getting anything from our database to specify the amount of lables to print so I am not sure what is causing this.
The Zebra printer prints only one label using Windows 10 test printing and the printer only advances one label when I press the label feed button.
I have contact Seagull Tech support but they have been unable to resolve this. Is there anything else that I can check to see what is causing this?

You may have already checked this, but if you go to the form tab look on the data source pane on the left. You should see 2 sources under "Print Dialog Data Sources" named "Copies per Serial Number" and "Serial Numbers". I'd check that neither of those is set to "2" and that there isn't anything on your form changing their value e.g. a number input box. One more thing to look at would be if either have a range checking transform affecting their value.

Thanks, Adam. I figured out the problem. The Order Number was in the database twice since an order can have more than one line. When I changed the SQL to only get the first line, only one label printed.
